Toscana Meat Distributors recalls products over multiple undeclared allergens

On April 29, 2022, Toscana Meat Distributors issued recalls for multiple products due to the presence of undeclared multiple allergens including gluten, milk, soy, sesame seeds, soy, wheat. The products include:

Plain Breaded Beef Cutlet 40 counts “Date Package” up to and including March 31, 2022
Plain Breaded Chicken Cutlet 36 counts “Date Package” up to and including March 31, 2022
Plain Breaded Pork Cutlet 40 counts “Date Package” up to and including March 31, 2022
Spiced Breaded Beef Cutlet 50 counts “Date Package” up to and including March 31, 2022
Spiced Breaded Chicken Cutlet 50 counts “Date Package” up to and including March 31, 2022
Spiced Breaded Pork Cutlet 50 counts “Date Package” up to and including March 31, 2022

Toscana Meat Distributors is based out of Vaughan, ON. The products recalled were not sold in retail stores. The recall affects hotels, restaurants and institutions who purchased their products.

According to Health Canada, “Do not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products.”

The recall is regional and affects - Ontario.
