On May 18, 2022, GB Foods issued a recall for their multiple sausage products. These products have been recalled due to undeclared gluten and wheat. The recall currently includes 12 products.
The recalled sausages were available in retail stores, hotels, and restaurants. Health Canada suggests not to use, sell, serve or distribute it if you are sensitive or allergic to gluten or wheat.
GB brand is based in Barcelona and is available in 50 countries. They have more than 30 local brands, and the company emphasizes good food that represents culture, roots, and richness.
